"Not Fit For Publication"

August 15, 2008

Mr. Corsi, author of the new bestseller that is vexing the Obama's campaign and possibly Obama himself in the same manner that Kerry was affected in  his candidacy.I have to tell you that I do not have a dog in this fight even when considering that my blogs clearly indicate my unadulterated support for John McCain. Although the author appears to have a Type A Personality and is extremely actionable and driven towards providing a host of interesting facts about  Obama, I have some serious observations about Obama's campaign's response to the media. There was a response that I saw in a Fox clip indicating that the book was "not fit for publication". What does that mean? Is
Obama and/or his people indicating some sort of censorship just because of an emotional objection to a book that is a #1 New York Times bestseller? What about authors that self publish which ordinarily absent of violating any federal laws will always be published and fit because you cannot stop a an author from publishing at his own expense. So the result is the denial of First Amendment Freedom of the Press and Obama saying virtually the same thing when Michelle stumped for him and he demanded that media and reporters stop typing. As long as Mr. Corsi did not violate Federal laws regarding certain varieties of treasonous or discriminatory text in his book, why is the book unfit to publish, after all it made #1 meaning that there are a lot of interested readers. Does this mean if he makes it I will have to eat, read, and drive what he wants me to? Also, he must know as a Harvard lawyer that he is free to file a libel suit however he also knows from his law training that Truth is the best defense against a civil litigation suit brought before a court as an individual being libeled.
